The card room’s walnut panelling and warm lighting create a private-club feel. Breaks are built into the night so players can order from the bar or kitchen without missing a hand.

Night Format

  1. Registration and Seating

    Arrive, check in at the card room desk, and receive your starting stack of chips. Seating is assigned to balance tables. Registration covers your seat for the entire night, and starting stacks are equal for all players. Late arrivals may join at the next break if seats remain.

  2. Casual Texas Hold’em Play

    The night features low-pressure Texas Hold’em with friendly blind levels and no elimination pressure. The focus is on playing hands, not surviving a tournament. Blinds increase slowly to allow social play, and players may re-enter during the night if they lose their stack, subject to seat availability. Dealers rotate tables to keep the game fair.

  3. Breaks and Social Time

    Scheduled breaks let players stretch, order food and drinks, and chat away from the table. Breaks occur roughly every hour, and the bar and kitchen remain open throughout the night. Players can return to their seats after the break.

Table Service and Bar

Our restaurant and bar operate throughout poker nights, with table service available so you never have to leave a good hand. A curated menu of share plates, mains, and desserts is available, and the bar serves Australian wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic options. Orders can be placed from the table or during breaks.

Poker nights are open to everyone from first-timers to regular players. Dealers and hosts are happy to explain the basics, and no prior tournament experience is required. House rules are explained at the start of each night.
